The New Breakfast

This blog is a little late, but I still wanted to publicly share something Kevin and I have become passionate about. A few months ago I was told by a friend to check out www.greensmoothiegirl.com. Well, I checked it out and found something I am really excited about. For the past few months i have been drinking, you guessed it, GREEN SMOOTHIES! Seriously, I know they sound appalling, but they're delicious. It taste just like a normal banana-berry smoothie, but has loads of spinach in it bringing along all the nutrition we all know spinach has!

How you make it:
1. Take a big handful of pre-washed baby spinach and put it in your blender with about a half cup of water
2. Blend. Now, you have a green slime smoothie
3. Drink up!! ...just kidding
4. Add a banana and fruit of your choice (we just buy the big bags of mixed berries..that's my favorite)
5.Add protein powder or flax seed if you like
6. A bit of ice
7.Blend
8. Enjoy your funky colored, super healthy, and tasty smoothie!



This is how I make them-super spinachy. Kev likes his with lots of fruit so they're more of a purple shade.

Mike loves them, my mom makes them almost everyday, Mike's parents love them, not to mention I put on a relief society activity in which I told them how to make them and how great they are for our bodies. All bc you introduced me to them!!!
