Grampy

A few months ago my family found out my great Grandpa had cancer. It was devastating news for us. Grampy has lived with my parents for the past 5 years so he isn't the typical distant grand parent who we'd just see on holidays. He was a vital part of our family. Shortly after finding out about his cancer he passed away. He lived a long amazing life and was married to Gramy for over 50 years! He was one of the sweetest men I have ever known and I loved him dearly. Here is a sweet photo of him from last Summer. He has his little pal on his lap and my mom by his side(although he is my Dad's grandpa-everyone knew he had a very soft spot for my mom). I think this picture is simply adorable. Also, some from his younger days- I think he was so handsome!
