~*~ Our Wedding Day~*~

We FINALLY received our wedding pictures! After months of waiting to see them the anticipation is over and I am once again taken aback at the sweet and memorable day we had. We were married in the breath taking Washington, D.C. LDS temple and an evening reception held in Southern Virginia. I have always wanted a certain look and feel to my own wedding, that certainly was achieved. The day started out typical of that area in August, being super hot and humid, then rain, then a pretty evening. So many people doubted my ability to plan a lovely wedding in 2 and a half months, but I knew it was plenty of time and it really turned out beautifully thanks to my sweet and supportive family! The most difficult part of a wedding is truly considering what everyone else wants for you that big day. I was warned by my girlfriends that it would be a difficult part of planning and it really was. I like to think that in the end everyone was impressed with the outcome. Of course, things don't always go exactly as you plan, but unfortunately you can't play the role of a wedding planner and bride all in the same day. Notice, you won't be seeing pictures of the cake! =)We definitely missed some of our close friends who weren't able to make it out to the East Coast, but with most of our friends either finishing college or starting their families we know how difficult it would've been. We're so grateful to those who did make it out to to be in those unforgettable memories of that wonderful day. Here are some pictures we just reveived-they're just a few of my favorites!
